I
ensure I take the children out
every day to places including
toddler groups, park, indoor play
centres, walks, bus rides, the
library etc to ensure their
experiences are kept vibrant and
stimulating.
I also attend the Tonbridge
Childminding Group on a Wednesday.
In
the school holidays, I plan days
out to the beach, Bewl Water,
Bedgebury, Penshurst Place, Leeds
Castle etc.
I particularly make use of
the National Trust venues who put
on fantastic activities for the
children.
I
encourage lots of art and craft
and often do this around themes ie
‘who keeps us safe?’ to ensure
the children are learning through
play.
The
children can go out into the
totally enclosed garden in all
weathers to play in the den, ride
on toys, slide, chalk on the patio
or just mess about.
I am always happy to play
outside with them.
Other
activites include, singing &
music, dance, cooking, messy play,
treasure hunts, nature trails,
role play, assault courses etc
