Details

I am a married mother of three boys aged, 6, 4
and 1. I have been living in North
Tonbridge for 7 years now and have
been childminding for four years
(starting in February 2006)
We
currently have no animals although
we are looking to add a puppy to our
family sometime this year.

|
|
Training
& Experience
|
In June 2007 I completed my Diploma in Home-based
Childcare and am currently in the
process of completing my
Accreditation status. On completion
I will then be able to offer
pre-school equivalent childcare and
accept Government vouchers for those
children aged three and above (the
term after their third birthday).

|
|
|
|
I
have completed paediatric first aid, child
protection, Food Hygiene and Speech and
Language Development to name a few. I am always
continually taking part in training
opportunities to ensure my practice remains
fresh and up to date.
Since
I began childminding, I have cared for a number
of children with a variety of ages ranging from
8 months to 12 years.

Typical
Weekly Activities
|
|
We regularly meet with other childminders and attend toddler groups, visit
parks, farms and other varieties of local places
of interest.
I
have a wide range of indoor and outdoor age and
stage related toys All children in may
care have the opportunity to help grow our
vegetables and also prepare meals. Older
children are involved in planning and decision
making regarding activities which take place and
this is even more so in the school holidays.

Contractual
Details
|
|
I work Monday –Friday 8am-6.30pm both term
time and school holidays
I
take 4 weeks holiday per year
I
am happy to accept childcare vouchers
